HAPI Memories: Each Hapi coat is CUSTOM, no two exactly alike. For each jacket, the body material is from table, window or bed linens, theater scenery fabrics, or deconstructed clothing. Placemats, hand towels, sashes, shawls, scarves or neckties make the sleeves, pockets and lapel/collar band — called a “tomoeri” — which ends in my signature coat tail detail.
